When you perform searches or open links through Springbrd:

  • URLs you visit are subject to the privacy policies of those websites
  • We may fetch website metadata (favicons) from external sources

Permissions Explained

tabs

Required to open new tabs when you search or click links from your Springbrd homepage.

storage

Stores your link groups and preferences locally so they persist across browser sessions.

activeTab

Allows adding the current webpage to your Springbrd collections via the extension popup.

host_permissions (springbrd.app)

Enables communication between the extension and springbrd.app to sync your saved links, groups, and settings.

Data Security

Your data is stored locally in your browser and is protected by Chrome's built-in security features. We do not have access to your data, and it is not transmitted to our servers or any third parties.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Delete all your data by clearing the extension's storage or uninstalling it
  • Export your data (link groups can be exported via the extension)
  • Control what data is stored by managing your saved links and search history

Remote Code

Springbrd does not use any remote code. All JavaScript and functionality is included in the extension package. No external scripts, eval(), or remote modules are loaded or executed.
